Types of forms

An overview of the two types of forms that can be created in formrun.

At formrun, there are two types of forms:

  1. Creator Form (created from the form edit page)
  2. Code Form

Please review these options and choose the method you want to use for creating the form.

* Note that after creating the form, you cannot change its type.

Creator Form (created from the form edit page)

The Creator Form (created from the form edit page) allows anyone to easily create and publish a form by simply selecting and clicking on the fields they want to include in the form, even without knowledge of programming languages like HTML.

Code Form

The Code Form allows you to create and publish the necessary form by entering or embedding HTML code. It offers greater flexibility in designing form input fields and layout compared to the form editing page.

Please note that Code Forms are designed for designers and engineers, and formrun does not provide support for installation on this side. Please keep this in mind.

If you want to create a form easily, please use the form editing page.

Steps for Using "Code Form"

  1. Click on "Create New Form"
  2. Click on "If you want to create a form with code, click here" at the bottom center of the page
  3. Determine the form title

How to distinguish between form types

To help you distinguish the type of form, please check the Form List page for the "Code Type" label.

If there is a "Code Type" label, it is a Code Form; if not, it is a Creator Form (created from the form edit page).

You can also filter by "Code type" from the "Publish Status" on the form list page.
