How to set up duplicate submission prevention (STARTER plan and above)

Information about the "Duplicate Response Prevention Function" that limits one response per form from the same device and browser.

This feature prevents duplicate submissions using Cookies.

This functionality is available for users with the STARTER plan or higher.

When a submission is checked from the same device and browser, you will be redirected to the following page:

From the 'Settings' tab on the form editing page, check 'Prevent Duplicate Submissions' to complete the setup.

[Points to Note]

1) Duplicate submissions will be prevented indefinitely unless:

Cookies are deleted
Submitting in incognito mode
Submitting from a different browser

2) If embedded using an iframe, it may not work on certain browsers (like Safari).

3) The recommended environment is as follows:

Google Chrome (excluding Incognito Window)

4) Environments in which it does not work are:

Google Chrome's Incognito Window (due to Cookie specifications)
Safari (only when using iframe embedding)

5) The form will only remember submitted forms when the duplicate submission prevention feature is ON. So, if someone submits while the feature is OFF, their submissions will still be sent even if you turn the feature ON afterwards.

6) The duplicate submission prevention function is only available for creator forms.
※ Note that code-based forms cannot use this feature.
