Notes on Google Analytics Integration

What is Google Analytics Integration?

With formrun, by setting the tracking ID, you can measure the number of times the form is displayed, the number of submissions, and user behavior with the form after integration. You can analyze the access to the form. formLab: Measure and analyze access to forms created with formrun using Google Analytics!

※ When specifying a redirect URL, access by end users directly to the URL is also counted in the number of accesses.

2. Check Form Display Count in Google Analytics

In Google Analytics, you can check tracking data from various pages.

Among them, the "Pages" page that can be viewed from "Behavior" > "Site Content" > "All Pages" is relatively easy to use.

If the URL of the form created in the form editing page is "@test-form,"

Form Display: "/@test-form"

Form Submission: "/@test-form/thanks"

corresponds to the pages.

For example, if the "Pageviews" for "/@test-form" is 100, and the "Pageviews" for "/@test-form/thanks" is 20,

it indicates that "100 people opened the form, but only 20 of them completed the submission."
※ The form submission completion page can only be accessed by those who have submitted the form. It is not possible to access it directly from the URL, so the "Pageviews" for "/@test-form/thanks" matches the exact number of submissions.

Notes on Google Analytics Integration

  • If you are embedding a creator form that uses iframe, even if you set up Google Analytics in the formrun settings, measurement is not possible. Please set up Google Analytics on the page where it is embedded.
  • If you have set up cross-domain settings in GA4 and added parameters to the form, it may not be possible to retain parameters until the thank-you page, regardless of the domain (completion page prepared by formrun or your own completion page).
