Rules for importing customers into the customer page

Explanation divided into "Customers who have responded to the form" and "Customers imported as customers."

There are two main types of customers imported into the page:

  1. Customers who submitted to forms created within the team
  2. Customers imported from the page
We will explain the rules for importing each type of customer.

1. For customers who submitted to forms created within the team

Customers who "submitted to forms created within the team" are imported into the page when an email address field is set in the "Form >
Form Settings" of the relevant form.

However, in the following cases, it's necessary to check if the correct customer email addresses have been imported:

  • If multiple email address fields are set up in one form
  • In the case of a coded form

Multiple email address fields in a single form

The only email address that can be imported into the page is the one registered in the "Common Email Address Field" in the "Form > Form Settings".

Since only one "Email Address" field can be registered in the "Common Email Address Field", if you have set up multiple "Email Address" fields in a form, please check if the email address you want to import into the page is set correctly.

For coded forms

For coded forms, initially the "Common Email Address Field" in the "Form>Form Settings" is not set. After submissions have been made and the data fields are created, set the relevant field in the "Common Email Address Field" in the "Form>Form Settings".

2. Customers imported from the page

Customers imported from the page will be imported as customers if there's an email address in the file selected during the import.
