About customer opt-out

Information about the "Opt-Out" method (stopping the delivery of mass emails sent from formrun).

Please note that customers who have opted out once on formrun cannot opt back in again.

How to opt out customers on formrun

You can opt out from the customer page > customer details page.

Click "Opt this customer out" from the "…" in the top right corner of the customer details page.

Click "Opt out".

The delivery status of the corresponding customer is now set to "Delivery stopped".

 
 

How the form respondent can opt out themselves

There are two ways for the form respondent to opt out directly:

  1. Answer the "Mail delivery preference" field without checking "Desire" and submit the form
  2. Set up refusal from the sent email

On the public form, answer the "Mail delivery preference" field without checking "Desire".

Set up refusal from the sent email

Click "Click here to stop delivery" on the sent email.

On the next page, click "Stop delivery".

Please note, the "Click here to stop delivery" link is defined by the specific email law and cannot be removed.

You can also go back to "Click here to stop delivery" on the sent email and click "Resume delivery" to cancel the delivery stop.
