About custom domain emails (PROFESSIONAL plan only)

Only PROFESSIONAL plan users can use their own domain email address with formrun.

Benefits of Setting Up a Custom Domain Email Address

Emails sent using formrun are typically displayed as being sent from the email address "system@form.run."

This is the default setting to reduce the likelihood of emails being marked as spam by the recipient's email server.

However, if the email address is different from your company's domain, messages exchanged through formrun may appear as if they are not consistent with your brand.

By setting up a custom domain for emails, you can establish brand consistency in the emails your users receive from formrun, allowing for more secure communication.

For more details, please refer to this article.

Custom Domain Email Addresses

With formrun, you can use custom domain email addresses, but this feature is limited to the PROFESSIONAL plan.

For instructions on how to set this up, please see here.

※ Custom domains can only be set by "Team Owners" and "Team Administrators." For information about team member permissions, please see here.

※ While it is possible to change the settings of a custom domain email address once it has been set up, doing so will require you to redo DNS and forwarding settings.

※ Setting up teams with the same domain is limited to 10.
For more than 10 teams, use subdomains.

For Those Who Set Up Custom Domain DNS Records Before July 9, 2021

Due to the migration of email delivery services for custom domains in formrun, those who set up custom domain DNS records before July 9, 2021, are required to re-register DNS records and switch systems within the formrun management interface.

For more details on the migration, please review this article.
