About spam submission filters (Creator Form, Code Form)

About the "Spam Submission Filter" function that does not cardize form responses consisting only of alphanumeric characters, numbers, and symbols.

Spam Submission Filter

With the spam submission filter, if the content of the form submission consists only of alphanumeric and symbols in half-width characters, it can be prevented from being imported into the admin page.

 How to Set Up

<For Creator Forms>

You can set up reCAPTCHA as a spam countermeasure.

In the form edit page "Settings Tab > Anti-Spam", turn "Install reCAPTCHA" ON and "Block submissions with only half-width alphanumeric characters" ON.

Note that if you check reCAPTCHA and send the form after more than 2 minutes, it will time out and an error will occur. Therefore, when setting up, it should be placed just above the submit button (at the very end of the form).

* If you only have fields (like email address, phone number, etc.) that require alphanumeric input on the form, turning "Block submissions with only half-width alphanumeric characters" ON will prevent form submissions.

<For Code-Based Forms>

In the settings page "Form > Spam Submission Filter", check "Do not accept if it's only half-width alphanumeric characters" and click the "Update" button.

List of Filtered Submissions (For Verification)

Form submissions that were not imported into the admin page can be checked in the "List of Filtered Submissions (For Verification)" for:

  • Submission Date and Time
  • IP Address
  • Submission Content

You can check the above within the most recent 30 days, up to 100 entries.
