About Google Spreadsheet Output

How to output data acquired by formrun to a Google Spreadsheet.

Data submitted through formrun can also be exported to Google Spreadsheets.

When exporting to Google Spreadsheets, the following specifications apply:

  •  Export is possible only for Form Owners and Form Administrators
  • Data obtained before upgrading to a paid plan can also be exported (manual export only)
  • Images are exported as URLs, and data (PDF documents, audio files, etc.) is exported with filenames
  • You can choose to export card URLs (manual export only)
  • You can choose whether to include archived cards in the export
  • Memo and email fields cannot be exported
  • Maximum of 10,000 fields can be exported at once (manual export only)
  • Bulk export is possible (manual export only)
  • Filtered export is possible (manual export only)
  • You can export either all fields or the fields currently displayed
※ The "Card URL" field is not included in the output for "Google Spreadsheets (Automatic Export)."

(When automatically exporting to Google Spreadsheets, the order of exported fields matches the order of data fields on the formrun management page.)

It is also possible to configure a Google account for each form.

(When configuring a Google account for output to a spreadsheet, the order of exported fields matches the order of data fields on the formrun management page.)

If you choose to export the currently displayed fields, you can export only the fields that have been set for display in the list page. However, you can select either all fields or the fields currently displayed for manual export to Google Spreadsheets, so please keep this in mind.

About Archived Cards

You can choose whether to include archived cards when exporting.

Notes When Data Doesn't Export to Google Spreadsheets

  • Actions that may prevent successful exports:
    • When automatically exporting to Google Spreadsheets, data is written to the leftmost sheet. If the sheet's location is moved or if the sheet is hidden, it may prevent successful exports.

    • If you delete the Google account linked to your formrun account due to retirement or other reasons, the linkage will be stopped.

  • If data is not being reflected in Google Spreadsheets (automatic export):
    • In your currently linked Google account, there may be an issue with the link. In that case, please try the following steps:

      1. Click "Re-link" in the settings page "Form > External Link Settings."
      2. In the "Select Google Account" modal, click "Use a Different Account."
      3. Enter the same Google account that you had set up.
