Billing for Plan Changes and Additional Fees

The billing amounts and billing dates for each plan change case, and the billing amounts and billing dates available for additional fees in the PROFESSIONAL plan.

When changing plans, the amount billed and the timing of the billing calculation vary for each type of plan change:

For each plan change:

FREE plan → Paid plan

When switching from the FREE plan to either the BEGINNER, STARTER, or PROFESSIONAL plan,
you will be billed every month starting from that date and time.

The fee will be charged in advance.

(Example) If you start using the STARTER plan on September 15th:

  • You will be charged for the use from "September 15th to October 14th" on September 15th.
  • You will be charged for the use from "October 15th to November 14th" on October 15th.

From then on, you will be charged on the 15th of every month for the next month's usage.

Paid plan → FREE plan

  • Once the reservation for downgrading to the FREE plan is complete, the plan will automatically switch at the next contract renewal time.
  • If there are no additional fees, the amount billed at the next contract renewal time will be 0 yen.
  • You can make a "downgrade reservation" up to 2 hours before the next contract renewal time.
    If you do not make a downgrade reservation, the contract will automatically renew and you will be charged. We cannot accommodate refunds after this 2-hour window, so please be aware.

If you are using the PROFESSIONAL plan and have incurred additional charges midway through the contract period, please note that we will settle the additional charges at the same time as the plan change.

Paid plan → Higher paid plan

Regardless of the payment method, the contract renewal date will be updated and a payment will occur when the plan is changed.

If you change your plan in the middle of the payment cycle,
the difference between the unused portion of the lower paid plan and one month of the higher paid plan will be billed, and the switch will occur once payment is confirmed.

(Example) If you subscribe the STARTER plan on September 15th and change to the PROFESSIONAL plan on the 25th:

You will be charged for the use of the STARTER plan from "September 15th to October 14th" on September 15th.
You will be billed on September 25th for the difference between the unused part of the STARTER plan from "September 25th to October 14th" (calculated per second) and the use of the PROFESSIONAL plan from "September 25th to October 24th".
From then on, you will be billed every month on the 25th for the next month's fees.
The bill on September 25th includes the following:

(A) Unused portion of the STARTER plan from "September 25th to October 14th", prorated
... (12,980 yen ÷ 31 days) × 20 days = 8,375 yen (excluding tax)
(B) Use of the PROFESSIONAL plan from "September 25th to October 24th"
... 25,800 yen (excluding tax)

(B) - (A) = 17,425 yen (excluding tax)

※ For simplicity, we're calculating using daily proration here, but actual calculations are made per second.

Payment of additional fees

With the PROFESSIONAL plan, you can add team members, total file storage capacity, Salesforce integration, and Account Engagement (formerly Pardot) integration beyond their respective limits.

  • Team members: From the 11th person onwards, an additional monthly fee of 980 yen (excluding tax) per person
  • Total file storage: 4,980 yen (excluding tax) for every additional 10GB
  • Salesforce integration: From the 11th form onwards, 980 yen (excluding tax) for every form integration
  • Account Engagement (formerly Pardot) integration: From the 6th form onwards, 980 yen (excluding tax) for every form integration

※ When adding members, charges are automatically added once the invited person approves via email. Therefore, no additional charges occur for periods when the invitation hasn't been accepted.

Also, there's no need to apply in advance when adding members.

The above additional fees are applied immediately for additions and reductions of available counts, calculated down to the second after actual use, billed in arrears for the first month, and in advance from the second month onwards.

For example, if the renewal date is every 15th of the month, and you invited 5 additional members on September 25th, and all 5 joined the form on the same day:

(A) Pro-rata for 5 additional members from "September 25th to October 14th"
... (980 yen x 5 members ÷ 30 days) x 20 days = 3,161 yen (excluding tax)
(B) Usage of the PROFESSIONAL plan from "October 15th to November 14th"
... 25,800 yen (excluding tax)
(C) Usage for 5 additional members from "October 15th to November 14th"
... 980 yen (excluding tax) x 5 members = 4,900 yen (excluding tax)

(A) + (B) + (C) = 33,861 yen (excluding tax)

※ To make the calculation easy to understand, we've used daily proration, but in reality, calculations are made down to the second.

If additional fees are incurred and you make a downgrade reservation before the next contract renewal date, charges for the used portion will occur at the time of downgrade. When downgrading to a paid plan, two invoices will be issued simultaneously. If you are paying by bank transfer, please deposit the total amount.

From a Paid Plan to a Lower Tier Paid Plan

  • Once the downgrade reservation to a lower tier paid plan is complete, the plan will automatically switch at the next contract renewal date. At that time, selected forms and some members other than the team owner will be deleted and cannot be restored. Please note that you can continue to use the current paid plan until the next contract renewal date.
  • "Downgrade reservation" is possible up to 2 hours before the next contract renewal date. If you do not make a downgrade reservation, the contract will automatically renew, charges will occur, and refunds will not be possible after the 2-hour mark. Please be careful.

If you're using the PROFESSIONAL plan and incur additional charges midway through the contract period, a settlement for the additional charges will be made simultaneously with the plan change. Please also note this.

Please note that bank transfers are not available with the BEGINNER plan, and you'll be switched to credit card payment.
