How to Create a Code Type Form and subscribe or cancel its option

This page provides a guide on creating a code type form.

Steps to create a form if you are currently on the FREE plan

  1. Go to the "Introduction and Creation of Code Type Forms page.
  2. Choose whether to subscribe to a paid option or upgrade to a paid plan

*Code type form is designed for users with coding knowledge, such as designers and engineers. If you prefer an easy form creation process, we recommend using Creator Forms.


Steps to create a form if you are currently on the FREE plan

 

1. Go to the "Introduction and Creation of Code Type Forms page.

Click on "[For developers] Click here for code type" in the lower left corner of the form template selection page.

 

You will be redirected to the Introduction to Code Type Forms page.

 

2. Choose whether to subscribe to a paid option or upgrade to a paid plan


If you wish to use a code type form with the FREE plan, you must add the paid option for 980 yen/month (excluding tax).

Alternatively, by upgrading to a paid plan (BEGINNER, STARTER, PROFESSIONAL), you can use it solely for the cost of the plan.

Specific steps to create a code type form are described below.

 

<By adding the paid option to the FREE plan >

At the bottom of the introduction page, click on "Create a code type form".

 

Please fill in the required information on the "Create Code Type Form" page.

Check the box after agreeing to the fee and precautions → Click the "Create" button.

If you have never registered your credit card before, click "Create a code type form" to go to the credit card registration procedure page.

After completing the process, please return to the "Introduction to Code Type Forms" page and click "Create Code Type Form" again.

 

<By using a 14-day free trial of paid plans>

If you have never used a 14-day free trial of a paid plan, you will see "Start a Trial" on the page.
During the trial, you can use code type forms under the same conditions as each paid plan.

  1. Click on “Start a free trial” on the introduction page.


  2. Click on "Start a FREE Trial" on the pop-up.


  3. Fill in the required information.

 

<By upgrading to a paid plan>

At the bottom of the introduction page, click on "Upgrade Plan".

 

You will be redirected to the plan change page. After selecting a plan, please follow this procedure again to create the form.

Steps to create a form if you are currently on a paid plan

 

1. Click on "Create a code type form".

You can access code type forms without needing an optional subscription with paid plans (PROFESSIONAL, STARTER, BEGINNER).

Click on "[For developers] Click here for code type" in the lower left corner of the form template selection page.

2. Set up a code type form.

On the code setting page,you'll find all the steps for creating a code type form.

Follow the instructions, selecting and coding the required elements.

 

Note that you cannot  edit form fields directly on formrun.

Instead, code and set up the form in your pre-prepared development and installation environment.

【for paid option users】How to check the status of your code type form subscription.

You can check the status of your optional subscriptions from "Plan change” > “Current Subscription" on the Team setting page.

 

How to Cancel

Deleting or archiving a code type form will automatically cancel the option subscription.

When you archive a form, the paid option for code type forms will be canceled, but a separate archiving fee will be charged.

To restore a code type form from the archive, you will need to resubscribe to the code type form option.

 

Cancellation and archiving notes

  • If you delete a code type form, it will no longer receive submissions. Please remove the form from your website after deletion.
  • If a code type form is archived, you will not be able to view its submissions. Once the form is restored from the archive, you will be able to see the submissions that were received while it was  archived.

When changing plan

  •  Upgrading from the FREE plan to a paid plan

If you are currently using a code type form on the FREE plan, upgrading to a paid plan will automatically cancel the option subscription.

  • Downgrading from a paid plan to the FREE plan

When you downgrade from a paid plan to the FREE plan, you will need to subscribe to the option if the form you want to keep is a code type form.
